Water. Yes, he was thirsty and hungry and exhausted, but none of that mattered when compared to the importance of this reunion. Suddenly there was meaning to this life again, he wasn't stranded in a barren land but given a new world for the two of them. Hope shone through for their new life, and it was all Cain could think about, that it didn't matter because Elijah was here. Whatever hardships this world may have, he looked forward to exploring them with his lover.
Pulling back from his lover when he was rested back on the ground, Cain kissed him, hoping Elijah didn't mind his sandpaper lips and tongue. He was parched, but he didn't care as this was far more important. Where Elijah hadn't ran his hands over him, Cain did, large hands caressing his back and running over his sides like he had to make sure this was truly the hybrid in person.
After what seemed like an endless kiss, Cain pulled away, coughing from how dry his throat was. "You said you found water? Do you remember the way back? We can talk while we walk, and can set up shelter near it."
