Elijah's heart still bounded with joy every time it looked upon the other man. How rare was it that Duplicity would send more than one person at a time from it's precious hold, and then even rarer still that it would send a couple together. What tiny percent of forces allowed these two to be sent from the clutches of that hedonistic city into the wilds of another world together. Relief and awe flooded the hybrid's senses the longer he sat and spoke with his lover, realizing just how small the chances were of them making it here together.
It didn't take Elijah much thought before he answered. "I say that we stay here. At least for a time, we have as much time as we want, and a nice life carved out in this little slice of a world wouldn't be so bad with just the two of us and no one governing us, telling us what to do or how to do it. I can't tell you the last time I was free to govern my life and mine alone."
Glancing at Cain he hoped that he'd chosen the right answer. "I will defer to you though, this isn't just my decision to make. Of course, we can always do a little of both. Stay a while, and then when we feel like exploring, do some of that too."
The original figured that if they were here long enough that they would want to get a feeling for the lay of the land around them and that he'd probably want to take several trips out to see what topography and things lie in the world around them, even if they chose to come back to their little space after. There was nothing wrong with being an explorer either.
