Cain wouldn't have offered if he wasn't sure, but he had also underestimated Elijah's desires when the vampire began to kiss along his arm up to his neck. He moaned softly at those kisses, the light licks and caresses from the man he thought he had lost forever. It was almost enough to harden him in his loins and he was sporting a semi erection by the time Elijah made his bite.
The sting was nothing, and he closed his eyes as Elijah drank his fill.enjoying the draw as Elijah enjoyed the taste. Yet Cain wasn't at his full strength, so when Elijah continued drinking and persisted past the first mouthfuls, his breathing started to speed up along with his racing heart. It wasn't to dangerous levels yet, but it was enough that Cain put his arm over Elijah's and his head began to spin from the sudden bloodletting of his already weakened body.
He sat back when Elijah let him go, one hand driving into the earth behind him to keep him upright while his other hand went to to slap over the bleeding bite mark. "Wait," he called before Elijah could run off. "Your blood first." Cain wasn't in life danger, but it was better if he didn't continuously bleed while Elijah was away. Who knew if there were any creatures here that would be drawn to the scent, and Cain really couldn't afford to lose more if Elijah wasn't benefiting from it.
"It's alright," he reassured the vampire too, knowing what must be going through that honorable head. Sometimes Elijah was his own worst enemy.
