Instead, he got up and Elijah was not pulling away, but moved his hands to help Cain massage away the pain in his neck and help break away the stiffness that had gathered there. It felt good, and warm, and Cain didn't know why the elder Mikaelson was still doing this after all his questions had been answered.

He couldn't figure out what else this was. Surely the vampire didn't still like him.
