There was a spark there and it was completely unexpected, even if Elijah had been the one to trail Cain about, feeling that little something as he did. He didn't know if that feeling would be returned in any fashion whatsoever, and he didn't expect things to feel quite so intense during sex the way that they did. No, Elijah could have never imagine what being filled and taken like that could have felt like. It was like now that Cain had been inside of him-- that he had a part of him.
The vampire had always been taught that it felt like that for some people, but never thought he'd ever experience it given his preferences. He never thought to lose any part of himself to another, never thought to feel overwhelmed by anyone other than his brother, and that was complicated enough in its own right.
Elijah winced slightly at the sound of Cain's voice when he offered the necessary platitude of welcome, and then questioned him on if he'd do it again. The words of course wanted to tumble right out, but he bit them back and managed to wait a beat before speaking.
"I would do that again, but only with you." It was the absolute truth. Elijah found that he had no desire to do that sort of thing again with any other person aside from Cain, strange as it might sound. His hand had reached out to run down the other male's side when the immortal suddenly sat up.
"What? where are you going?" Elijah questioned when Cain began to leave. He didn't think about Klaus, didn't care about his brother right now. He didn't want to be left alone after sharing such an experience with someone, and couldn't fathom being left behind right after having sex like that.
