How could Cain expect Elijah to have any semblance of what his life had been like. There were so many years between them, Elijah couldn't even grasp the sum total of years that Cain had been alive. It was one thing to have been living for over a thousand years, and another to have been wishing for death for ten times that. Elijah sighed and laid his forehead against Cain's perfectly rounded shoulder. The muscle definition was hewn together with expert precision and a brace made perfect in the knot between muscles.
"I feel too much, and you desire not to feel, or to feel but had lost the will to do it for too long. I don't know, Cain. I have no idea how you feel, as you have no idea how I do. We are two different beings, two different creatures with two different needs." He said with exasperation and quite a bit of exhaustion as well. Elijah was wistful, and had hoped that one day he might find that other person, that other half to his soul that might know the passion he equipped and might be able to return it.
Running his fingers in circles along Cain's hip bones, Elijah tipped his head and mouthed open kisses along the expanse of Cain's neck. He was still tethered to this man that his heart had claimed. The Original knew now that it was hopeless to escape. No matter how far he ran, or what he did, this would be his lot. "I love you still, and I will always. It is my truth." He returned his lips to Cain's and ran them across the other male's in a blush, a dry wisp of a kiss before applying pressure and working his way inward, diving into something that he knew he had to have, had to taste least he wither up and die without.
